We begin this week with the message, “The answer is simple … Talk to God,” which reminds us to seek out our loving creator instead of allowing our ego to guide us. Whenever you find yourself mired in negative thinking, blaming God for your current life situation, complaining that nothing you do works or that your life is not worthwhile, this is your ego talking. Your ego is the fear-based part of yourself that whispers negative thoughts, telling you that you’re not good enough, that you are doomed to fail, and that the Universe is out to get you. Your ego spends its days dreaming up new complications to block your dreams and goals from happening, finding new calamaties to worry about and new things to dislike about yourself. Your ego is the part of yourself that refuses to be quiet when you try to meditate or even just have a few moments peace in your own mind. Your ego is like a rambunctious puppy or a small child, always begging for your attention. The best defense against the ego’s antics is laughter. Whenever you find your ego getting out of hand, just laugh and tell it, “To the light with you! I have nothing to fear right now.” This frees up your mind so that you can connect to spirit and listen for Divine guidance.

We begin this week with the message of “Prayer” from our guardian angels. The angels remind me that prayer is a powerful act. It sends out your loving, healing vibrations into the whole Universe and mobilizes all the forces of Heaven to work in your favor. Sometimes, we may feel like just praying for a person, a place or a situation is just not enough. We may feel that in order to really help, we must DO something. But, the angels assure me, that prayer IS doing something! They say, “Yes, being able to physically assist when things go wrong is of great value. But prayer is also of great value. Never underestimate your power to create change simply by asking Heaven to assist in any situation.”

As the week draws to a close, we are brought the message that it is time to face our fears. Perhaps we have avoided moving forward on our life path for fear of rejection, for fear of being called stupid or fear of failing. Perhaps we avoid telling people what we do for a living or are afraid to reach out to new people. The angels tell me that when we do this, we create our own prison, locking us and our gifts away from the world. They say, “The path to your Divine life mission always involves being of service. Find ways to reach out and be of service to others. Do not hide your light!” When you begin reaching out, you will find that your fears were only a creation of your worried mind.

As we enter the middle of the week, we are reminded that as Lightworkers it is our job to lead by example. It is not enough to pray that others move into the light and begin to live in love and compassion. We must also do these things. It is not enough to say, “Someone should do something about that!” We are Someone and We have the power to do something. We are advised at this time to look for ways that we can make our lives into living prayer, to walk our talk. Even small acts of kindness and compassion count!

Have you ever encountered someone who was always negative? A person who always seemed to begin their sentences with “can’t” or “won’t” or “never”? These kinds of people aren’t just an annoyance - they can also steal your energy and bring you down to their vibrational level. As the week begins, we are given the advice to surround these people in light and let them go. When you do this, the world becomes a brighter place.
